Wave of Revitalization

This high fire porcelain vase stands at a humble 5 inches tall, making it perfect for those clippings from the garden. Cracks on the exterior reference the earth from which the clay and plants were created, and the rounded bottom alludes to the repetitive cycles which will continue to produce them. This peacock-teal vase was fired to cone 10 in a reduction kiln, and finished with a little oxidation to bring out a rainbow iridescent glow.
